5 Books That Will Make You Rich

1. The First Million by Reid Hoffman & Jacobia Dahm Published by W.W. Norton & Company, 2010, ISBN: 978-1-58544-397-4 So, why is it on this list? Because it explains the system that anyone can use to make one million dollars within ten years. This is the best book I have read about how to get rich and here’s why. If you are trying to get rich and you are not motivated, you’re doing it wrong. 2. The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy by Thomas J. Stanley & William D. Danko Published by W.W. Norton & Company, 2007, ISBN: 9780316503570 This book is about how to get wealthy and I love it! 3.

Book 1: The Richest Man in Babylon

This is the first book on the list, and it comes highly recommended by Warren Buffett. You can watch the video of Warren Buffett explaining why the first book on the list is the best. You can also read a summary of the book on Amazon. Book 2The Wealth of Nations The Wealth of Nations is often considered the first modern economics book, and it is considered the basis of economics as we know it today. It was published in 1776, and many consider it to be the classic economic work. I’m not exactly the economics expert here at The Motley Fool, but I’ve read a fair amount of history on economics, and I know this book contains important information about the economy that everyone should be aware of.

Book 2: Think and Grow Rich

Ricardo Aciman’s groundbreaking bestseller, Think and Grow Rich, has become a modern classic that has helped millions of people live out their dreams. You get 2-hours of “Powerful”, life-changing teaching from this international bestseller and its inventor, Napoleon Hill. Aciman’s book is filled with practical advice, proven ways to solve problems, and real examples of people who used those methods to achieve a radical level of success. Book 3The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up The obsession with throwing out junk that accumulates over the years has become a worldwide phenomenon. In this cleverly written and poignant advice book, Marie Kondo shows you how to declutter your life and have more room for the things that really matter to you.

Book 3: The Science of Getting Rich

7 Powerful Ways to Work Less and Make More How to Manage Stress, Lifestyle, and Work For Financial Freedom The Secret of Now by Eckhart Tolle I have owned all of these books at least 5 times, and each time they have changed my life. Some of you are reading this and scratching your heads saying, “But Michael, these are all New Age, all-encompassing, new age books that claim to get you all kinds of riches.” But this is a proven formula that works for the 1% – and it works for you too. And this formula is based on years of research and insights from some of the most intelligent scientists and researchers who have ever lived. What’s more, the authors are not New Age, they are true entrepreneurs who happen to believe in this system. I read them, and I believe it.

Book 4: The Millionaire Next Door

This is the book that “puts on the map” the millionaires of America. I read this book in college and was hooked. This book showed me the value of simply knowing someone who is wealthy and who shares their wealth with you. This was the first real eye-opener for me. I learned that many people have simply no clue who the millionaires in their communities actually are. They probably know their neighbor’s husbands and wives who are the service providers and entrepreneurs. But no one ever sees the millionaires. No one ever considers asking their neighbors how much money they have. One of the authors, Thomas J. Stanley, was quoted saying: “Most people don’t know that America is a nation of millionaires, and many don’t even know it yet.

Book 5: The Total Money Makeover

In The Total Money Makeover, Dave Ramsey introduces people to an idea that almost seems oxymoronic. On the one hand, he emphasizes the importance of financial discipline, and he advocates a disciplined budget and having enough money to live on comfortably. But on the other hand, he says, the success of your financial life doesn’t necessarily depend on those factors. It depends on one thing. “It depends on you.” The book is largely about getting out of debt and staying out of debt. But when he teaches you to make money, he shows you how to create the freedom and security you’ll need to live the lifestyle you want. Book 4Think and Grow Rich Everyone thinks they can become rich. I certainly did.

The Richest Man in Babylon

T.H. Huxley once said: “Great wealth is never found in possessions, it is found in the knowledge.” The Richest Man in Babylon has taught me everything I need to know about making money, but it’s not the most popular book in the world. Countless studies have concluded that most of the wealth in the world was created by just 6 men. However, I’ve read over 500 books that claim to show me the key to wealth, and The Richest Man in Babylon is one of the best books that I’ve ever read. The book has taught me everything about how to build wealth, from being able to predict the market to starting and growing a business, and so much more. It helped me understand that wealth comes from more than money and that success doesn’t just come from having an income.

The Millionaire Fastlane

In this book, Ozzy for Greatness author, Kevin Kerrigan offers his bestselling formula for becoming wealthy fast. The Automatic Millionaire

Author: Scott Pape Scott Pape was on a quest to change the way he lived his life, and one of his major changes was to read the book The Automatic Millionaire. He was inspired to do so because of the deep truths in the book. Pape didn’t come across this book accidentally; he had been trying to increase his net worth. But it was the concept that everyone can improve their situation and have a lot more financial freedom that made Pape change his life. Since that day, Pape has been consistently increasing his net worth and now he helps his readers to do the same. After reading this book, you can easily adapt this idea to other aspects of your life. For example, you can get a great job that will allow you to help others, increase your savings, and learn to live on less than you make now.

The 4-Hour Work Week

I first discovered Tim Ferriss in 2012. I’d heard his name before, but I’d never listened to his podcast or read his books. At the time, I was working 12-14 hour days and never had time to get in the office. I decided to give this guy’s books a try. In two weeks, I quit my job and started working on my blog full-time. It was an incredible time in my life. But I had one problem: I was broke. Like, really broke. And because I was young, I wanted to create a business and start a family. How was I going to be able to take care of both? Well, I looked at Tim Ferriss’ life and I realized I had the right person to ask for advice. He had created his own business from nothing. He’s a self-made millionaire and an entrepreneur. Not only that, but he built his own brand.
