They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera
They both die in the end (Harper Collins) is an interesting kind of mashup – both for-profit and modern. With the set “there is an application for it” times we live, it feels very topical.
In an alternative reality, two teenage boys spend a day together after learning that it will be their last. There is a variety of representation here and definitely a message that seems appropriate for young people who are connected to their phones at the expense of world experience and making real connections.
