As long as, because of laws and docks, there will be a social curse in the world, which falsely creates hells in the core of civilization; as long as the three problems of the century: the transformation of the man into a proletarian, the humiliation of the woman by hunger, the atrophy of the child by darkness, will not have been solved; as long as in some regions social asphyxiation will take its toll; in other words, and from a still wider point of view, so long as there is ignorance and misery on earth, books like this will not be useless.
